ARLINGTON, MA - The Condors Soccer Club U14 Girls Heroes had a visit from Boston Breakers' stars Rose Lavelle and Sammy Jo Prudhomme as part of the club's first-ever Paint Night! It was held on Monday, May 1, at artlounge Arlington.

Along with Condors U14 Girls Heroes Head Coach Keith Beaty, Executive director Zach Rocha, family, friends and a professional instructor, the Condors players, Lavelle and Prudhomme created their own personal versions of the Condors Soccer Club logo (designed by Sidekick Illustrations' Miguel Chavez).

"The most important aspect of our club is fun. For our players to learn that their hard work on the field can be rewarded is teaching them life-long lessons," said Rocha. "Soccer is a creative sport and painting is a creative activity. The parallels can be easily drawn."

Just a few days after Paint Night, Lavelle earned the National Women's Soccer League Player of the Month Award for April. It was Lavelle' first-ever month as a professional after being selected No. 1 overall out of the University of Wisconsin in the 2017 NWSL College Draft. At just 21 years old, Lavelle is considered the fastest rising star for the US Women's National Team.

She joked, though, "Most proud of painter of the month, for sure."

Prudhomme was the No. 31 pick in this year's NSWL College Draft after leading the University of Southern California to a National Championship last year as the team's starting goalkeeper.
